Lidl Glenageary

This project involved the construction of a new Lidl Store at an existing brownfield site on Sallynoggin Road, Lower.

The scope included but was not limited to the following:

Works included:

Works took place in a busy urban environment, consisting of residential and commercial properties. Temporary traffic management measures were put in place for all works on the public roads – management of vehicles and pedestrians.

Particular attention was taken to the potential public disruption and dust that can be generated throughout the undertaking of this type of project. NRS Group developed method statements for the project which also included the necessary environmental controls necessary to control these hazards. Controls included the limiting of site operating hours to minimise the disruption to the public and surrounding businesses, the use of silenced plant when available for all tasks and the control of dust. All due consideration was given to the public and businesses using the surrounding areas. All necessary planning with regard to traffic routes and control of pedestrians, servicing of businesses and general site establishment took place throughout all stages of the project.
