Our team consists of 9 full-time QESH Staff all trained to the relevant standards (IOSH & NEBOSH, and ISOS accreditation levels), implementing a rigorous regime of auditing to ensure compliance with our Management Systems. We strive to continuously improve with a focus to adopt and implement new initiatives such as Daily Hazard Boards and Safety Observation Report systems
Recruitment and retention of skilled & highly trained staff means that experience & lessons learnt taken onto future projects.
Our policy is to promote continuous learning amongst all staff. This takes a number of forms including on the job training, to formal industry training courses and qualifications. Staff undertake their own personal development and the company facilitates this with time off for day release etc. Another company policy is to provide apprenticeships to ensure we have the infrastructure in place to grow.
NRS Group owns and maintains an extensive range of plant which allows us to provide a more cost-effective solution as well as giving us greater flexibility for mobilisation to site.

NRS Group is extremely proud to work in collaboration with Jobs & Business Glasgow providing opportunities and experience within the construction industry for young, disadvantaged and unemployed people on several of our projects for Glasgow City Council.
Scotland’s Bravest is a social enterprise set up to provide employment and development opportunities within the printing and signage industry for ex-Forces personnel. NRS Group has committed a percentage of our site signage requirements every year with Scotland’s Bravest logo advertised on the signage to help raise their profile.

Working together with they’re inspiring mentor community and partners, they can help young people to realise their skills and progress onto a positive destination. NRS have worked closely with Street League who are proud to provide work-ready individuals who can add real value. They help young people aged 16-30 to gain confidence and develop the essential skills for the world of work. They achieve this through an award-winning programme that combines sport and employability, encouraging young people to be motivated workers.
