The construction of the access road in Ashbourne, Derbyshire continues to make steady progress. The weather over the last few months has provided its challenges. The site, like most of the country, hasn’t escape the heavy rainfall. However, we have had to try and make the best of difficult working conditions.
Over the latest period the works have consisted of constructing the road-side footpaths ready for backfill. The road has taken shape with kerbing installed and street lighting poles being erected.
Works also continues to finish the drainage at the bottom end of the site. The next major milestone will be for the surfacing works to commence and then we move into the final stages
